Romanesco, the innovation that eases the daily life of market gardeners Groupama Loire Bretagne

Straight from Saint Malo, ROMANESCO is a family business founded by two brothers, Félix and Basile GAULIER, who took on a major challenge: to lighten the work of market gardeners, both physically and mentally.

It all started in 2017: the difficulties of their market gardener uncle “in his rows of carrots” made them aware of the arduous nature of certain daily tasks. Bending down, getting up… Repetitive movements throughout the day have a considerable impact on health.

The solution they imagined? A motorized bed: the Enjambeur, which allows them to weed… while lying down!

Initially, the Enjambeur was intended for a specific task, but since then it has evolved into an ultra-modular machine that adapts to the various needs of market gardeners. Ergonomically designed with an osteopath, it offers the best possible position and reduces the risks related to muscle disorders. 100% electric, silent, and vibration-free, made in France of course, it is a true assistant for manual work, saving you time to dedicate to other higher value-added tasks…

FiltraLife: The innovation that democratizes access to drinking water!
Groupama Centre-Atlantique

FiltraLife is a “rev-water-lution!” Gold medal at the Lépine competition 2024, FiltraLife Solution is a company founded by Auguste Minot, in collaboration with his father Paul, specializing in the valorization of surface water.

This innovation allows any water source-rivers, ponds, streams, rainwater, or even borehole water-to be transformed into drinking water without using electricity or chemicals!

How? Through a 100% mechanical and autonomous machine, which relies on a lever and filter system, capable of producing up to 1000 liters of drinking water per hour!

More than 2 billion people worldwide do not have access to drinking water. FiltraLife wants to have a real impact by addressing the needs of communities that need it most: in rural areas of developing countries, but also for individuals, companies, and agricultural operations…

FiltraLife aims to meet a vital need: to build a future where clean and safe water will be accessible to all.

100% Made in France, FiltraLife has based its production in Valence-en-Poitou, Vienne, thus contributing to local employment and the economic development of the Poitou-Charentes region.

Cactile, the startup tackling climate change; by turning building roofs into water reservoirs!
Groupama D’Oc

Inspired by cacti, the resilient plant par excellence, Cactile is a contraction of cactus and tile. From Occitanie and founded by Jean-Baptiste Landres, it transforms the roofs and facades of buildings to collect, store, and redistribute rainwater. Each equipped building thus becomes a tool to locally reduce the risks of flooding and droughts and better withstand climate changes, all without pumps or energy.

How does it work? While conventional building covers evacuate water, these eco-designed tiles can store water at height, collecting up to 40 liters of water per m² while remaining as light as conventional tiles!

The goal: to offer a sustainable solution for rainwater management for urban areas and their inhabitants.

Beyond its innovative aspect, Cactile embodies the values of solidarity and cooperation: by 2028, the company aims to federate and train local roofers around this sustainable solution.
