Francis Thomine is Managing Director of Groupama Rhône-Alpes Auvergne.

Career

A qualified engineer, Francis Thomine began his career in teaching. In 1988, he joined IBM as a sales engineer and head of Key Accounts. In 1993, he moved to the world of insurance by joining Athéna where he managed the data warehouse for the individual production division and distributed computing production.

In 1998, Francis Thomine was made Head of Sales Information Systems, before joining Generali in 2000 as Director of the Production Division of the Information Systems EIG*.

In 2001, Francis Thomine became Director of Customer Relations and Production with Groupama Systèmes d’Information, before being appointed its Managing Director in 2006.

From 2009, Francis Thomine became responsible for the Group’s Logistics and Purchasing Department (Supports and Services EIG), until April 2013 when he was appointed Managing Director of Groupama Rhône-Alpes Auvergne.
