Groupama Centre Atlantique

French Assurtech has brought together five leaders of mutual insurance companies to support their development (Maif, Maaf, Groupama Centre-Atlantique, IMA and Macif).

The programme is designed to invent the insurance industry of the future by bringing several mutual insurance companies into contact with start-ups who are on top of new issues impacting insurance business lines. This project constitutes a testing ground for these leaders and provides them with all the human and material resources they need.

There are two objectives behind this programme. For the historic actors of the insurance industry, the aim is to collectively challenge their existing Business Model, rethink the user experience and develop products to meet market expectations. For start-ups, the programme offers a unique context for moving their project forward as well as advanced knowledge of the marketing regulatory requirements.

In 2018, the accelerator offers a customised support programme for start-ups, comprising key events: nine collective workshops, nine individual workshops and personalised weekly follow-ups with an acceleration expert.
